Each week, you will be required to post two discussion posts (200-300
words each) and to respond to four posts by your classmates (100-150
words each). Your initial discussion posts should be posted as new blog
entries, and your responses should be posted as comments.
Please note: These are minimums, not limits. I encourage you to participate more actively should you have the time and/or inclination.
I
will post five topics for discussion at the beginning of each week, and
you simply need to choose the two you find most interesting and blog
about them by 11:59 pm on Friday. Your "official" comments must all be
posted by Sunday at 11:59 pm, though you may keep commenting
"unofficially" for as long as you like.
Caveat:
This is an English composition class. Therefore, you blog posts,
though they can be informal, must meet academic standards. This means
that you must spell check and proofread and that you should pay close
attention to your language and tone.
