I believe all in all this movie was bad ass. Between the graphics and story line, I loved it. With this being a great movie, I found my favorite part on youtube.com, so here you go.
This clip is about a car chase between a few of the Decepticons and Autobots. They used traveling shots in this scene to give you a feeling of being in the movie. They went from one side of the road, to the other. As doing so, the background music faded a little bit while the sound of the cars' engines got higher. You could here the strength of the car as they raced away from the decepticons. Going more towards my favorite part, they used a decelerated motion to anticipated whether or not Sam was going to fall to his death or saved by Bumble Bee. Of course, like in most movies, Bumble Bee came to the rescue and caught him in mid-air as he blocked any debris going towards Sam. They did a close up shot as Bumble Bee transformed from robot mode to his Camaro form. Sam was still screaming like a girl in the passenger seat.
The last sentence of your review is pretty funny!. I love this movie as well, I love how they did the fighting scene while Bumble bee was driving or holding Sam and transforming at the same time. I also love the traveling shoots it really makes you feel the adrenaline along with the sound of the cars. I guess guys would enjoy this movie even more since they are usually the ones to know all about cars. I usually don't go for any action movies but Transformers seems to be a little more than just guns and violence or racing, as most people would think of it. To me it holds the human belief that something greater than us is out there, whether good or evil and how that could make an impact on us. Unlike other movies about alien invasions or creatures trying to take over Earth, this movie shows that even though they are all "robots" they are still the good and bad ones, not just the bad ones that want to eliminate all of us humans.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great movie, with incredible action scenes. In fact, this scene is one of my favorites. I am one of those girls who likes cars, especially ones that are awesome like the Camaro used in Transformers. The whole transforming while in a high speed chase battling the Decepticons and still protecting Sam is mind blowing. Even with all that powerful protection helping Sam, he still ends up screaming like a child, which to me is comic relief after an intense scene.
ReplyDeleteTransformers has always been one of my favorite action movies. After learning the aspects of film making and the vocabulary used in producing films, I watch movies in a different way. This small clip from had so many different camera angles. The camera work, composition, sound, editing, and lighting is so involved in these few minutes of the movie. How many people had to work on this film to create this? No wonder movie tickets cost ten dollars and this whole time I was thinking it was the greedy actors receiving millions for their performance. I appreciate the knowledge that I have garnered from college and how the college experience has changed my life.
ReplyDeleteWhen the first Transformer movie came out, I was reluctant to watch the movie. I was thinking it would be just another typical Sci-Fi movie. I was really suprised and thought the movie was "awesome". Because it was so exciting, I could not wait to watch the sequel and enjoyed the sequel. The special effects from this movie was the best and know I really want a Bubblebee car to cruise around.
ReplyDeleteI love all of te transformer movies. I grewup on the cartoons and I still enjoy them today. All of there movies are filled with power pact action. There is know wayou can leave without feeling your apart of the flm. Sam and bumbblebee are the best couple. This shot alone was fille with energy ad excitement There is just so much action you don't where to start. As the decepticons begin to change, the race for sams life is on the line. The best part about it is that they always manage to get out safe.
