This ad is clearly picking on one subject to focus on. The use of gasoline is killing our planet seems to be the primary point of view. Or you can look at it as not only are we killing the actual planet itself by depleting all its natural resources but what about killing the world? We are going all over the world in search of 'new' resources for our consumption and with that search in other countries we are also getting into wars over these resources. War is another form of economic stimulus and another way of killing our planet.
Back to the primary view, we are actual caught in a vicious circle too. We drive our vehicles to work to make money to pay for the gas in our vehicle to drive to work. If you have a bigger family, you typically require a bigger vehicle which consumes more gas. If you have to commute to your job, that requires more gas to get there. So by needing this extra gas to live we make the sacrifice our of planet.
This ad has a very compelling argument. I didn't think about actual war over the natural resources that are being depleted. That is a good point though. As our natural resources become more and more scarce the fight over who has control over them will be an epic battle. We already feel the pressure when the people who are in control raise prices. Imagine when the people who are in control refuse to sell these natural resources to us.
