Casual Chain
Contemporary media is encouraging children to grow up too fast. The moral decay of society has lead to the depravity of mankind. The images and messages that are conveyed through media reflects the thoughts and feelings of our culture. As humanity continues down a path of corruption less censorship is the trend to supply the demand of humans turpitude. The world's children suffer from the desensitization that contemporary media is conveying. Thus continuing the vicious cycle of the exponentially increasing decline of the values of the human race. Through this downward spiral, technology still continues to progress with different ways to present media. New technology caters to the demand of the people. As more and more electronic devices can deliver the information in a small convenient way, children are drawn to these electronic devices that have the capability of researching more data than children should know until they get older. Desensitization has become a problem with our society. Children lack a sense of empathy because of seeing so many horrible things through contemporary media.

The degradation of contemporary media has had a noticeable impact on children that are exposed to it these days. Companies appear to be marketing the sex, party, and drug behavior to children at younger ages with the programming they put on the tv for children to watch. This does indeed encourage children to try and grow up faster but they’re socially inept, most of the time, to handle those kinds of situations which leads to terrible results(Teen Mom anyone?). If children would communicate more with their parents about things they are unsure about instead of taking the teenager mentality of “nothing can stop me” then there would be less problems.
