Wolverine
The above photo is Marvel's very own Wolverine also known as Logan. He is a mutant widely known in the series the X-Men with a remarkable ability to with stand pretty much any condition with his super human healing power. Wolverine is described as an animal with an outstanding ability to "hunt". In the photo above the the artist is puts Wolverine in some sort of forest giving the viewer the thought that he must be some kind of animal. Wolverine also has sharp retractable claws that pierce through his knuckles, giving him an even more animal look. The majority of his suit is yellow, some may say yellow symbolizes wisdom and wisdom is a sign of age, seeing how Wolverine is pretty old this might be the reason behind his color scheme. If you look closely at his mask you will also notice how he has some sort of ears poking out. This cowl gives him the distinct look of a wolverine. Wolverine also has marks all over his body and suit as if he has been in some sort of combat showing his ability to recover from almost anything. Wolverine the animal adaption of man is someone you don't want to be running from.
Wolverine is certainly someone I would not want to scrap with. His face seems as if he is growling. In the animal kingdom, males will do this to show dominance. So I think it is a nice touch considering he is the man version of a fierce animal. The jungle scene he is shows him almost jumping out of the brush as if he is hunting something down. The way his claws are out tell us that he's going for the kill. Chase made a good observation about the color scheme of Wolverine's costume. He does seem to be an older superhero and with the years comes wisdom. Something tells me that his internal instincts are directly on point.
